DSA warns that recalled vehicles can't be used for driving tests until fixed
A reminder for those taking their driving test this week, the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) posted information regarding recent driving test changes for those with vehicles that have been recalled by manufacturers for safety faults. These vehicles cannot be used for driving tests until they've been checked and fixed if necessary. The recall, which is worldwide, of specific vehicles has been issued because of concerns about potentially faulty passenger airbags. If you are due to take your driving test and the vehicle you bring is on the recall list, you will need to take proof to your test that the vehicle has been checked and, if necessary, fixed or your test will be cancelled. Also, if you don’t bring the right proof, you could lose your fee.
