Fiat Professional has recently announced that Glasgow City Council has taken delivery of not one, but thirty one new Fiat Doblò Work Up vehicles. These are to join its existing fleet of over 200 Fiat Professional vehicles. The vehicles are used in a variety of applications across several departments. The new Doblò Work Up deal is part of an on-going four year Framework Agreement between specialists Fiat Professional dealer, Imperial Commercials Glasgow, and Glasgow City Council for the supply of commercial vehicles. Fiat Professional models already supplied under the agreement are the Fiorino Combi, Fiorino Cargo, Doblò Cargo, and Ducato vans. The latest Fiat Panda 4x4 with an all-wheel drive system is successor to the previous best-seller that first appeared over 29 years ago. The 4x4 version was first introduced in 1983. The new Panda 4x4 is the off-road version of the new Panda and offers a captivating mix of excellent on-road manners with off-road sure-footedness, thanks to its permanent four-wheel drive system. The attractive car features body-coloured ‘4x4 style’ bumpers with satin aluminium finished skid-plate, roof rails, side mouldings with ‘4x4’ logo, black wheel arches and side skirts, 15-inch dark alloy wheels and raised ground clearance suspension. Another impressive motor debut will take place at the forthcoming international Paris Motor Show. The new Fiat Panda 4x4 – the only four-wheel drive model in the A segment and equipped with a torque-on-demand transmission system with two differentials and an electronically controlled coupling, will be on display come September 29 in Porte de Versailles, France. The third generation Panda 4x4 with five-doors is lighter than before at 368 centimetres long, 167 centimetres wide and 160 centimetres high with a permanent four-wheel drive system managed by an electronic control unit.
