The new e-NV200 all-electric van

Could this be the top eco-friendly van of the future? Nissan has announced its zero emission all-electric van. Meant for the light commercial market, this new CO2 free van will be available in Canada and the USA sometime in 2014. No word yet as to when it will become available in the UK. I’ll be keeping a keen eye on this. I think the e-NV200 will appeal to a broad spectrum of drivers. Aside from the eco angle, an added bonus will be money saved on maintenance and avoiding the ever rising petrol/diesel costs. The 24-kWh battery pack could see mileage on a single charge (similar to the Nissan LEAF) at about 100miles. We will have to keep an eye on this in the next few years to see if it delivers on all that’s promised. Read more details here
