Mobile office in your van

Do you use your mobile phone for GPS/Sat Nav, to contact customers, or to stay in touch with the home office while in your work van? More and more drivers are relying on their phones or mobile devices as communication tools in an attempt to procure a mobile office in their work vehicles. An interesting article in Fleet News points out the need for manufacturers to add more communications devices in the cab, to make it possible to run a small business and offer better customer services whilst on the road.  With smart-phones, iPads, and other mobile internet devices becoming essential to any mobile business, we've recently seen new van models being equipped with docking stations, Bluetooth, and USB connectivity. Hopefully this trend will continue and we can expect even more manufacturers to keep up to date with present and future technology. To read the article, please click here.
