Enter to win a new VW Transporter BlueMotion for three months

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has launched a competition in conjunction with Mirror.co.uk for someone to win an economical, new Transporter BlueMotion for three months to see for themselves how much it could reduce their fuel bills and running costs. The van will come complete with a full tank of fuel, which means it could travel for over 780 miles without having to stop to refuel.

The new Volkswagen Transporter BlueMotion offers the ultimate in efficiency thanks to combined fuel economy of 44.8 mpg from its 2.0-litre 114 PS TDI turbocharged engine, as well as low emissions of 166 g/km. This represents an improvement of over seven miles per gallon in combined fuel economy compared to the standard models with 84 PS and 102 PS TDI engines, plus a 32 g/km reduction in emissions. Commenting on the competition, Mark Hopkins, Head of Marketing for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles said: ‘This is not only a great way to demonstrate the efficiency of the new Transporter BlueMotion, but it could also really make a difference to someone’s business or charity by saving valuable money on their fuel bills.’
