"High fuel prices encourage eco driving"

Fleet News posted an enlightening article on October 16th, 2012 titled, "High fuel prices encourage eco driving", which gives details on research conducted by Autoglass. The research found that due to economic stresses and higher fuel costs, there has been a considerable change in people’s attitudes towards driving during this time. It seems that half of the men polled chose not keep their foot down on the accelerator, as they once used to, and are also opting not to drive as aggressively either. Autoglass commissioned the research to mark its 40th birthday. It was not surprising, but rather a sad fact of driving costs nowadays as they discovered that less than half of UK motorists don’t see driving as a relaxing activity at all anymore and one quarter dislike driving more than they used to.
