Supermarkets lower fuel prices

Did you see lower prices at your supermarket fuel pumps from the middle of last week? Asda was the first to announce that their fuel customers will see a whole 2p reduction, meaning the average Asda fuel customer would pay no more than 133.7p a litre for their petrol. Its diesel was to remain at 139.7p a litre. Of course the other big supermarkets like Tesco and Sainsbury's followed in announcing that they would be offering fuel savings 'up-to' 2p off as well. Considering the recent AA price report showed a 4p drop in petrol wholesale prices, although the 2p reduction is gladly welcomed, it still seems like a paltry savings. Is there a petrol price war in your neck of the woods? Let me know how much you pay at the pumps.
