Essential Guide to Van Specification: Core Components cont. 3

In this continuation of the Essential Guide to Van Specification: Core Components, we look at another two key areas in evaluating your requirements; cab type and active safety systems. Many vans now come equipped with a variety of in-vehicle entertainment options and sat nav packages. If you will spend long periods on the road and in your cab, these may be worth investing in or looking further into. Active safety system refers to safety systems that help avoid or minimise the effects of a crash. These systems can include; anti-lock braking systems, electronic stability control, chassis assist, intelligent speed adaptation, brake assist, traction control, or collision warning/avoidance.
