The All-new Ford Transit Custom Sport Van variant

Exciting news from Ford has just been released. The All-new Ford Transit Custom is to be offered in a range-topping Sport Van variant featuring a dynamic new exterior style and be powered by a gutsy 155PS 2.2-litre Duratorq diesel engine. Built at Dagenham, the Sport Van combines strong performance with hardy styling and a bold colour-coded exterior.

The Sport Van will provide UK businesses and owner-drivers with an eye-catching vehicle that stands out. The new model follows in the successful line of Sport Vans that have developed a following among Transit drivers since first being introduced in 2007.

David Petts, Ford Britain CV marketing manager, said: “The new Ford Transit Custom Sport Van offers customers a stylish vehicle that makes a bold statement and delivers full Transit functionality and capability that our customers have come to expect.”

The new bold appearance is finished off with stylish 18-inch alloy wheels on low profile 235/50 tyres, and the signature twin bonnet stripes in a contrasting colour. While the interior boasts an exclusive sporting style and also includes partial leather trim combining Pewter seat fabric with charcoal black leather bolsters, and the latest interior technologies such as the Ford SYNC voice-activated, in-car connectivity package and a DAB audio system.

The all-new Transit Custom was recently named “International Van of the Year” and Ford has since unveiled an ECOnetic variant that offers class-leading fuel-efficiency.
