The Tourneo Custom adds a twelfth model to Ford’s passenger vehicle line-up

 Yesterday, Ford proudly posted how it had marked this year’s alliteration date – the 12th day of the 12th month in 2012 – with the arrival of its 12th passenger vehicle. The 2012 launch of the Tourneo Custom adds a twelfth model to Ford’s passenger vehicle line-up.

Ford included a few facts in their release regarding their passenger vehicle range with bits of trivia such as; in 1912, Ford’s model range comprised of a single vehicle – the iconic Model T and since 2006, Ford has added five all-new car nameplates: S-MAX, Kuga, Grand C-MAX, B-MAX and Tourneo Custom.

Mark Ovenden, Ford UK managing director, said: “Ford continues to invest in its product range, which will offer unrivalled breadth and choice to our customers in the New Year with the addition of the stylish and luxurious Tourneo Custom people mover. Since the introduction of our global One Ford strategy in 2006, the company has been able to deliver more vehicles faster to increase its competitiveness still further in 2013.”

The 12 vehicles that make up Ford’s passenger vehicle range are Ford Ka, Ford Fiesta, Ford B-MAX, Ford Focus, Ford C-MAX, Ford Grand C-MAX, Ford Kuga, Ford Mondeo, Ford S-MAX, Ford Galaxy, Ford Ranger and Ford Tourneo Custom.
