"£50 million: the fuel sapping cost of van loads"

After last month’s OFT fuel pricing debate and the upcoming April fuel duty rise, many motorists are looking for ways to ease the financial strain when it comes to fuelling their vehicles, especially for those van driver's whose personal vans are essential to their livelihood. Simply buying a smaller more economical vehicle just isn't always a viable option.

In a recent BCA Used Car Market Report, which surveyed 4,000 motorists, has revealed that 53% of motorists say the higher price of fuel will eventually push them into ‘buying a more fuel efficient vehicle’ or change their ‘driving habits’ or both. 1 in 10 said they would change to a more fuel-efficient motor if the price of fuel hit £1.50 per litre.
