Stream Mitsubishi Motors Geneva Show press conference LIVE
Mitsubishi Motors in the UK will be making sure we don't miss out on their Geneva Show press conference by streaming it Live to our desk or mobile device via its media-site, and popular UK Facebook page. All you need is an internet connection and a Smart Phone, tablet, laptop or desk top to tune in to the live stream on Tuesday 5th March at 07.15am GMT (08.15am CET/ 16.15pm JST).
For those of us who may not yet be awake or unable to view it live, Mitsubishi Motors will post a fully edited version of the conference to YouTube and Facebook that will be available to view by 12 noon GMT.
Here is the scoop on some new vehicles that Mitsubishi Motors has in store for show goers and those watching from home:
Outlander Plug-in Hybrid EV - An all-new Outlander Plug-In Hybrid has been built from the bottom up to accommodate an EV-based plug-in hybrid power-train, a fully integrated solution, based on Mitsubishi Motors EV technology and extensive 4-Wheel-Drive expertise. When fitted to the all-new Outlander, the Mitsubishi Plug-in Hybrid EV system achieves a range of over 550 miles, very low CO2 emissions of 44 g/km, has an EV range of over 32 miles and fuel economy of 148mpg!
Hybrid EV Truck Concept - The first of the concept vehicles to be unveiled is the “Concept GR-HEV”. This is Mitsubishi Motors’ take at Hybrid (HEV) technology, applied for the first time to a one-tonne pickup truck
Compact SUV EV Concept - Showcasing all of Mitsubishi Motors’ various technologies, will be the sleek “Concept CA-MiEV” which can accommodate next generation EV systems and high density batteries. Lightweight with advanced aerodynamics, the pure-EV CA-MiEV will offer a 300 km driving range, perfectly suited for suburban & country daily life.
These look to be some interesting autos from Mitsubishi, just wish they included some sneak peek photos in their press release announcement. Guess we will just have to tune in to the conference for more details.
