Euro NCAP’s latest test results are in

Euro NCAP has announced the results for four new cars tested this week. As the auto world focuses on all the new and upcoming vehicles being presented at the Geneva Motor Show, Euro NCAP are making sure to provide consumers with the latest safety test results from the vehicles already available; the Renault ZOE, Skoda Octavia, Toyota Auris, and Toyota RAV4.

To help motorists choose the safest model when buying a new car or van, Euro NCAP organizes crash-tests then provides a realistic and independent assessment of the safety performance of many popular vehicles in Europe. The criteria for the overall safety rating are composed of scores in four areas: adult protection, child protection, pedestrian protection and safety assist. As from 2013, Euro NCAP is now providing consumers with information on the most widely available child seats throughout Europe. For each new car tested, details on the installation of a series of child seats will help parents to make the safest choice for their kids.
