Fiat Professional to display impressive line-up of new commercial vans at CV show
This year’s Commercial Vehicle Show held at Birmingham’s NEC from 9-11 April, 2013 is said to be the largest and most comprehensive road transport, distribution and logistics event in Britain. For those interested in the motoring network, this show has hundreds of exhibitors covering the whole road transport, distribution and logistics business. You name it, from truck, van, and trailer manufacturers through to fork lift trucks, insurers, tyre, telematics and training providers, fuels and lubricants suppliers, all this and more will be included at the CV show.
One manufacturer who has announced that they are excitedly gearing up to display an impressive line-up of its award-winning range of commercial vehicles is Fiat Professional. There will be whopping seven vehicles on their stand and the Exhibits will show the breadth and depth of the Fiat Professional range and include UK debuts for the new Fiorino Crew Van, Scudo Crew Van and Ducato Tipper. Fiat says, "The new Crew Van versions provide fleet operators and businesses with flexible and versatile solutions for combined goods and people transport."
The new Scudo Crew Van powered by Fiat’s 2.0 MultiJet 130hp engine is available on both short and long wheelbase bodies. A bulkhead with window is positioned behind the rear seats providing protection against load intrusion into the cabin.
As for the two versions of the Fiorino that will be featured; the new Fiorino Crew Van N1 1.3 75 MultiJet II Active and a Fiorino Cargo 1.3 75 MultiJet II SX, powered by the 1.3 MultiJet II 75 hp engine and is a N1 homologated vehicle with panelled sliding side doors on both sides and twin panelled rear doors, the interior will have a rear passenger seat which can either be folded or removed completely.
As well as showcasing the new vans, attendees will be able to visit a ‘technology’ corner on the stand showcasing Fiat Professional’s product data system (PDS2), the new and improved website, and new Fiat Professional mobile website.
