Fully integrated TomTom navigation for Fiat Ducato van range

Fiat Professional commercial vehicles have announced an exciting extended partnership with TomTom that will now see TomTom’s fully integrated and state-of-the-art navigation solution added to the new Fiat Ducato range of vans.

The state-of-the-art navigation software will be integrated in the Uconnect™ 5” Radio Nav system, which is fully integrated in the dashboard, has a 13 cm (5") resistive colour touchscreen, and also feature TomTom’s IQ routes and digital maps.

I really like the look of the dashboard system with the 5" screen, but personally, I have yet to upgrade to a shiny state-of-the-art sat nav system in my car. It just might be too much of a distraction for me, so I have thus far resisted, although my map reading ability would warrant a look at investing in one of these. Lucky for Fiat Ducato owners, as the added new technology will provide them with:

  • World class TomTom navigation software

  • High quality maps for over 30 countries across Europe and Latin America

  • TomTom HD Traffic - delivers the quickest routes through traffic, with more coverage and more frequent updates than any other provider

  • TomTom Places – provides local search for places of interest and the driving directions to get there

  • TomTom Danger Zones - gives drivers access to danger zone alerts, keeping them informed and improving safety throughout their journey

  • Easy access to Fiat Professional POIs including dealers and service points across Europe

  • Pre-installed Speed Cameras

  • Help Me! emergency menu

  • Advanced Lane Guidance

*Plus so much more. See the complete list of specs here.

We are pleased to announce an extension to our partnership with Fiat. When businesses select a new car for their professional drivers, navigation is one of the most frequently requested features. It not only helps them make smarter decisions when driving, but also saves time and increases fuel efficiency,” said Jan Maarten de Vries, VP Automotive at TomTom.
