Lights, Camera, Action: We’re going to be on TV!
Most of us know what it’s like to sit in a really big job interview. We start worrying if we’ll talk too much, or worse, if there’s lipstick on our teeth (the thing nightmares are made of). We worry that our palms will be sweaty, and that our handshake will be too weak. There’s so much that can go wrong even before an interview starts, and the pressure is on to perform.
In case you haven’t seen our social media feeds lately, we’re very excited that Low Cost Vans will be appearing in a brand new documentary, airing on Channel 4 this Tuesday July 12. If you’re feeling curious, here’s the trailer.
As you can imagine, we’re all pretty excited about this. Our offices were absolutely buzzing when we heard that we were hand selected to appear on the show, and although filming seems like it would be pretty chaotic, it was a great experience. None of us really knew what to expect, so we were a little nervous, but it turned out to be such a fun experience for our staff. Cameras immediately put people on edge (and best behaviour), but it’s safe to say we all managed it well.
Now, I don’t want to spoil anything, but word on the grapevine is that there’s a pretty interesting interview on tomorrow night’s show. Before your imagination runs away with you, no, nobody came in without any socks (true story, it’s happened before), and nobody came in fancy dress. We hear it’s a pretty hilarious piece of TV, and our team can’t wait to see it.
We’ll all be sitting around a TV in our office tomorrow with our own pizza and Twitter party. Join in with us and let us know what you think, and I can’t wait to share the team’s reactions with you!
