Low Cost Vans have been revealed as Swansea City’s first kit sponsor for the 2018-2019 season.

The Neath-based commercial vehicle provider began their association with the club more than seven years ago, and will also remain as the Swans' Official Commercial Vehicle Partner.

Their LCV logo will appear on all of the first team and academy players’ shorts, in addition to the Liberty Stadium’s dugouts, LED screens and team sheets.

Low Cost Vans managing director Rod Lloyd, who still has his old schoolboy pass for the Vetch Field, said:

“As a lifelong fan, I didn’t have to think twice about renewing our partnership with Swansea City.

“This will be our seventh year working together, and when the opportunity to increase our involvement by sponsoring the shorts became available, I jumped at the chance.

“Seeing the players run out onto the pitch with the Low Cost Vans logo on their kits will be a special moment, in what promises to be our most exciting season together to date.

“I’m really looking forward to the start of the season, and I hope our contribution can play a part in helping the Swans rediscover the style of play which took us to the Premier League seven seasons ago.”

Mark Davies, global head of partnership and sales, said:

“We were overjoyed to continue our relationship with Low Cost Vans as the main commercial vehicle partner. Working with one of the most established lease hire companies is great for us. There’s always a buzz around renewing a partnership with a well-recognised brand synonymous with the Swans.

“It also adds so much weight to our corporate offering and community representation. The football club remains the key showcase for the Swansea Business Community and it’s vital to rely on Rod’s support as well as the many others we’ll be announcing over the summer for the forthcoming season.”

Chief operating officer Chris Pearlman echoed Mark’s comments:

“Since day one I’ve always stated how important sponsorship and commercial income is to the growth of this football cub, none more so for this season.

“Having spent time with Rod and his business during this time his backing of the Swans is unquestionable, and I’d like to personally thank him for his commitment in the past and his continued support for this season.”
