There are a few gadgets that you can have in your car that
will make your driving experience even better. We’ve got a list of gadgets that
you need to have in your car if you haven’t already.
Car charger
Dash cam
Gone are the days of the cigarette lighters in cars,
replaced by a DC connector that allows you to plug things into the car. Having
a car charger will save you a lot of stress if you plan to use sat-nav on your
phone for a long journey. You can charge any phone with one of these, as long
as you bring your own cable.
Phone mount
Using your phone in the car is not only dangerous but
illegal. However, it can come in handy when you want to use a map or call
someone hands-free. A phone mount can help you do both of these safely and
conveniently. Just make sure not to put it on your windscreen where it can
obstruct your view – one that clips into a car vent might be a better choice.
Dash cams allow you to record what’s happening both in front
and behind your car. These are very useful in the event of a crash to prove you
aren’t at fault. However, they might also catch something out of the ordinary
so they can make for a lot of fun!
Car Vacuum
Another one to plug directly into the car, these vacuums can
pick up all those crumbs after a long journey snack. Much easier than trying to
plug in the vacuum inside your house and dragging it to the drive, this is well
worth getting.
Car seat organiser
These may not be electronic, but they’re very handy for
sorting out all the junk that accumulates in your car. Hang them over the back
of the front seats to keep everything in reach for the passengers. These are
great if you’re travelling with children, too, as you can store any games or
books in the back for them to use on long journeys.
