A herd of goats take over a Welsh town during the coronavirus lockdown

To (mis)quote The Specials, a Welsh town really is "coming like a goat town" this week.

With Llandudno in lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic, the local goats, who usually confine themselves to the nearby Great Orme headland, have seized on the opportunity to descend on the deserted streets and sample the grass, hedges and flowers while the humans are away.

They were spotted late on March 27 by video editor Andrew Stuart, who has been documenting the four-legged action on his now-viral Twitter feed (see below). And even after the police sent them back on their way, they have been quick to return again and again...
