Low Cost Vans: Safe Delivery Promise

Our aim

The current Coronavirus pandemic is a challenging time for us all and everyone is having to adapt and find new ways of completing the simplest of tasks. Here at Low Cost Vans, the safety of our customers, employees and partners is our number one priority. We want to reassure you that we are able to deliver your new vehicle in a safe and Covid Secure way. 

Preparation process

Your vehicle will be thoroughly cleaned and inspected prior to delivery, ensuring it is fully safe to be onward delivered to you. All our partners have verified safe working procedures in place to allow them to do this. 

  • Your vehicle will have undergone a Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) prior to being delivered, this is being carried out at centres who are following safe working procedures. Your vehicle will have limited contact at the PDI centre. 
  • Your vehicle is fully valeted at PDI stage, with the operator wearing gloves and masks at all times. 
  • Drivers are issued with a sanatising pack to ensure touchpoints can be fully cleaned upon delivery. 

Delivery process

Your vehicle will have been fully valeted prior to delivery and drivers have been equipped with a complete PPE kit.

  • The driver is instructed to call you prior to delivery to run through the delivery process, safety measures being taken and agree a suitable location in order to adhere to social distancing rules. You will be asked if you or anyone in your household is showing symptoms of COVID-19, if so delivery will be re-arranged. 
  • Drivers will wear gloves at all times while delivering your vehicle and most of our partners use protective coverings on the seat, steering wheel and gear stick  

Handover process

The handover will be as brief as possible to ensure yours and the drivers safety. 
Support via video links will be provided to showcase certain features of your vehicle.

  • The driver will remove any protective coverings and sanitise the vehicles main touch points (these can be viewed on the next page) 
  • The driver will remain 2 metres apart at all times, please ensure you do to to protect yourself and the driver. 
  • The keys and delivery paperwork will be left in an agreed safe place for you to collect. 
  • Where possible, the handover will be contactless and the driver will sign for the vehicle on your behalf. A picture may be taken with the vehicle if you are comfortable to do so.
